Battery Replaceable Alarming Cable Lock ET-E008

If you have been using any alarming tags, you may find it unsatisfactory to your usage. First of all, main problem of alarming tags in the market currently is that the battery dies quickly and you will have to abandon them afterwards as you can’t replace the battery.

The other problem that alarming tag users complain a lot is that the lanyards are not secured enough for high end products, not to mention about deterring shoplifters.

To solve these problems, we have done a lot of research and developed a new alarming tag to meet customers’ need. So here comes TrustTag’s ET-E008 Battery Replaceable Alarming Cable Lock, which is also more secured and deterrent with heavy duty coated steel lanyard.

This is a great improvement on the series of Alarming Tags , which always come with battery that doesn’t last long enough. Even most manufacturers claim that the battery life can last for 3 years, but wait until the end user are using it, the battery life would run out much quicker than they expected.

Moreover, TrustTag’s new alarming tag is more environment-friendly as they are battery replaceable and reusable with strong housing.

So how to replace the battery of TrustTag’s ET-E008? It is simple and convenient just using a small stick like screw driver. You can replace the battery in only 15 seconds! Check out the 15 seconds video below on Youtube https://youtu.be/W1hFNFQ4PJ4. You may think the thieves can then take out the battery and disalarm the alarming tag. The truth is, you can’t reach out to the battery unless the tag is detached! This is another advantage of our alarming tag that we have taken into account during designing.

If you are interested in learning more of our ET-E008 Alarming tag, or more new designs from TrustTag, please visit us our website at www.trusttag.com.

The innovated combination of traditional EAS tag and RFID with laser printing

Traditional EAS tags are widely used in retail loss prevention/anti-theft for many years, with the unique function to act as protection guard for most of the hypermarket, supermarket, textile stores, outlet and so on. Due to the progress of the time and social requirements, RFID as a new technology is becoming more and more popular. RFID is well known in logistics, manamgement of inventory, retails, foods, parking and so on. Its application range is so big and it’s near us everywhere.

And since RFID can be used in retails management, most of the stores are using EAS security tags and RFID tags together for anti-theft and product management. Under this situation, some of the stores put forward to an idea: how about combine these two tags together? Not only can simplify the non-commercial products, but also can save cost! Why not?!

And then another question is that, what if we want to have barcode consistent with RFID data? Or what if we want to have permanently print a barcode on tags for scanning?

So here comes the EAS and RFID combination tag with laser printing!

TrustTag as a professional manufacturer in EAS field, now positively comform to the requirements of the time and needs of our customers by devoting into the production of EAS and RFID combination tags. Our RFID laser printing machine combines the function of reading, writing RFID data, laser printing, high speed auto-testing and auto-eliminating defective tags with very fast speed and good accuracy.

The laser printing we can do, for example, to print barcode on the tag. The data of the barcode is consistent with the data in RFID inlays. Or if you want to print like company logo or any other images, it’s also ok too!

Customers don’t need to worry about putting two seperate tags on commodities and pay extra cost for manual printing, With this solution, they can increase retail sales while reducing cost. With only one tag they can solve all the problems!

TrustTag RFID Source Tagging

rfidst01

Source tagging is the embedding of security tags at either the point of manufacture or packaging. It helps retailers reduce shrinkage, increase profitability and eliminate expensive in-store tagging costs.

TrustTag is a worldwide provider of EAS source tagging and the leading supplier in China to textile retailers. Our security tags and labels are delivered to garment factories where they are applied and subsequently shipped with each product to the store. The tag is removed or deactivated by retail staff at point of sale as products are purchased by the customer.

Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) is the use of radio waves to read and capture information stored on a tag attached to a product. A tag can be read up to several feet away and does not need to be within direct line-of-sight of the reader to be tracked.

TrustTag has pioneered the development of blended EAS RFID solutions for retailers with high volume and complex supply chains. Our inhouse team of engineers and technicians have yielded the industry’s most stable, reliable and visibly appealing tags that solve challenges with loss prevention, logistics, warehousing and in-store stock management, merchandise tracking and employee productivity. TrustTag’s mission is to deliver the latest, most complex technology and highest quality products.

Source tagging is a proven and quickly evolving high-impact program that can increase store sales and reduce shrink.

Today’s consumers demand attentive associates, in-stock items, and a fast, easy checkout process when it comes to the in-store experience. Subsequently, retailers need employees to be not only motivated to assist customers, but empowered with more time to service those shoppers and minimize the tasks on the selling floor. Source tagging facilitates many of these operational synergies in the value chain for the retailer, and adding RFID provides the insight needed to make it a reality.

RFID Printing & Encoding

As the electronic article surveillance industry matures, traditional EAS tags and labels, which have been in use for 50 years, may not meet the needs of today’s retailer. The emergence of radio frequency identification technology (RFID) in conjunction with EAS has given new life to the technology. An increasing number of retailers are adopting the duo for use in their chains.

RFID has a range in applications including logistics, management of inventory, security, parking and beyond. Retailers use the RFID/EAS application to effectively reach a new level of efficiency and security by providing greater visibility to the inventory as it moves across the supply chain.

Virginland Technology, a world leading manufacturer of EAS tags and labels, is now pioneering the way in RFID solutions including RFID Source Tagging.

RFID is a rapidly developing identification technology that allows digital data to be encoded in a security tag or label. Virginland provides high-quality RFID printing and encoding barcodes to label products with unique and secured data. This information is captured by a reader using radio waves. RFID printing and encoding increase efficiency and accuracy by providing greater visibility from manufacture to distribution to store.

Virginland has a full line of RFID products which meet the needs of retailers worldwide. Our RFID printing machine combines the functions of reading, writing data, laser printing and high-speed auto-testing while automatically eliminating defective tags with warp speed and pinpoint accuracy.

With the RFID printing system, we input the UPC/EAN code, provided by the retailer. We generate the EPC code automatically with the standard style of GS1 utilizing our in-house system. We encode, print and ship. The printed information on the tag is customized and can include company logo or other desired images. RFID printing and encoding increase efficiency by providing greater visibility from manufacture all the way to purchase.

TrustTag’s Self-Checkout Solution

If you have ever abandoned an in-store purchase because the checkout line was too long, you are not alone. Research shows 33% of customers will forgot a purchase if the line is determined to be longer than 5 minutes. It is estimated that the average person spends 2 years of their life in line!

With increased competition and on-line options, it is imperative for retailers to convert the maximum sales opportunities possible and do so for the least amount of cost. Why go through the effort of bringing the customer to the store and then lose the sale? Since 35% of retail sales are generated during weekends and holidays, it is critical for retailers to find solutions that make the checkout process quick and secure. Consumers require a pleasant customer experience if they are expected to return and shop during peak hours.

Introducing TrustTag’s Self-Checkout solution, which enables retailers to operate their stores with high efficiency, inventory transparency and lower labor costs!

scs-01
TrustTag has partnered with QueueHop, a world leading provider of mobile self-checkout, to provide a cost effective, fast exit, high security solution which changes the way people shop. The partnership combines TrustTag’s 12 years of manufacturing and engineering experience in EAS and RFID with QueueHop’s technology infrastructure and intellectual properties, to deliver a fully integrated supply chain for retailers.

So how does Self-Checkout work? The process is quick and easy.

Customers pick up the secured items they wish to purchase and scan the tags QR code with a mobile phone which links to online payment. Once the item is paid, customers remove the security tag at the kiosk which automatically identifies the item as purchased. If identified as an unpaid item, the kiosk will not allow the security tag removal and sets off an alarm off while exiting the store.

With TrustTag’s Self-Checkout solution, retailers speed up the checkout process and reduce cart abandonment. Personnel can be reduced or cashers can be re-allocated to provide improved customer service. Furthermore, with the help of our RFID-powered security tag, customers can also check on merchandise availability and receive product suggestions based on their past shopping patterns. Inventory is conducted with a handheld RFID reader which is easier, faster and more accurate than traditional methods.

Advantages of Self-Checkout

advantage-selft-checkout-1 Efficiency and Speed of Checkout – Customers can checkout and pay for their purchases with added speed. Rather than dealing with long lines that get backed up with customers desiring to pay, consumers quickly make purchases by themselves. This is especially helpful during peak hours when stores experience a large influx of customers. Self-checkout reduces the length of checkout lines which increases customers satisfaction.

Reduce Cart Abandonment and Increase Salesadvantage-selft-checkout-2With a quick and pleasant checkout experience, carts are not left full of goods and sales are increased. Retailers convert and capture the highest percentage of sales possible.

advantage-selft-checkout-3 Self-Checkouts Take Up Less Space – Since multiple kiosks can be placed into a relatively small area, stores can take care of customer transactions with minimal space.

advantage-selft-checkout-4 Fewer Employees to Pay or Increased Customer Service – Retailers now have the option of decreasing payroll as a single employee can monitor several kiosks or maintaining the current payroll and providing increased customer service.
